China’s Leapmotor unveils Australian dealer network for new electric SUVs

Australians around the country will soon be able to take Leapmotor C10 electric SUV for a test drive with the unveiling of a countrywide dealer network.

Less than two months after the Stellantis-owned Leapmotor announced that its flagship electric vehicle (EV), the C10, would soon be available in Australia, the Chinese carmaker has unveiled its dedicated dealer network which will be located at existing Stellantis locations in Melbourne, Adelaide, Sydney, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Perth, and Canberra.

Adelaide, Perth, and Canberra will each have a single dealership, while Sydney and Melbourne will both have two, while Queensland will have a dealership in both Brisbane and on the Gold Coast.

The dealerships will be up and running from November 15, with customers able to take the C10 for a test drive from mid-November – as was reported in September.

Leapmotor dealerships will be located at:

  • Adelaide City Leapmotor
  • McCarroll’s Artarmon Leapmotor
  • Barbagallo Leapmotor
  • Brighton Leapmotor
  • Brisbane Leapmotor
  • Gold Coast Leapmotor
  • Gulson Canberra Leapmotor
  • Nunawading Leapmotor
  • Parramatta Leapmotor

Leapmotor also expects to continue expanding its dealership network throughout 2025 to support the imminent arrival of more models.

The company also unveiled pricing for the C10 last month, with the entry-level Style variant is priced from $45,888 before on-roads and going up to $49,888 for the more premium Design variant.

Leapmotor seems to have confirmed these pricing details with its own ‘drive away’ “Introductory Offer Pricing” starting at $47,500 MSRP for the Style and $51,500 MSRP for the Design.

Coming with a 7-year, 160,000km vehicle warranty and an 8-year, 160,000km high-voltage battery warranty, both C10 variants will be powered by a 160kW motor delivering up to 320 Nm of torque and will come equipped with a 69.9 kWh battery able to deliver up to 420km of driving range (WLTP) and feature one pedal driving.
